Why go
Zhongxiao is a Lingya neighborhood secret with one killer feature: it runs until two in the morning. A traditional daytime market flips into an evening food street after four, serving salt-and-pepper chicken, grilled corn, eel noodles, and the cheap night steaks Taiwan does so well.
It is compact, it is local, and it shares its narrow street with cars and scooters, so this is a dinner stop rather than a stroll-and-shop evening. For visitors staying near Central Park, it is the late-night answer within walking distance.

Where to find the top stalls
Zhongxiao Night Market is one block of Zhongxiao 2nd Road between Siwei 3rd Road and Qingnian 1st Road: a traditional market by day and a food street by night. Most food vendors have a Zhongxiao 2nd Road house number.
Night-market stalls rarely have their own address. We describe each position only as our dated sources state it. If you cannot see it, show the sign text to a vendor nearby. Stalls move and hours change, so check before a special trip.
