The review scores beat the more famous Liuhe on both platforms, and the local crowd confirms it nightly.
Angel Fried Chicken's cutlets and the Fujian-style fried noodles are the orders we chase, with a papaya milk to cool the chili off. The aisles are narrow and Friday and Saturday get intense, but that density is also what makes it feel alive.
Our tip: Closed Monday and Wednesday, and many stalls fire up closer to five than four. Ride the MRT to Kaohsiung Arena and follow the crowd.
