The quick read
Why go
Best for a quick local dinner near Yilan Station. Open every day, one of only two daily night markets in Yilan per TVBS
What to eat
- Scallion pancake
- Dragon-phoenix rolls and mini chicken cutlets
- Stinky tofu
- Charcoal-grilled skewers
- Red bean pastry (du hao shao)
- Star fruit juice
Where to find the top stalls
The market sits under and beside the Donggang overpass. Most food stalls are on Shenghou Street, with more stalls and shops on Hemu Road. Guides give Shenghou Street house numbers for many stalls; a few stalls are listed simply as under the overpass.
Night-market stalls rarely have their own address. We describe each position only as our dated sources state it. If you cannot see it, show the sign text to a vendor nearby. Stalls move and hours change, so check before a special trip.

Strengths
- Open every day, one of only two daily night markets in Yilan per TVBS
- A short walk from TRA Yilan Station
- Small and easy to cover in one visit, with low-priced snacks
Know before you go
- Relocation pending: the Donggang overpass that shelters the market must come down for the Yilan railway elevation project. As of 2026-04-28 (PTS), Taiwan Railway had not agreed to the vendors' plan to move under the new viaduct, citing open-flame risk, and no date was set. Check before you go.
- Under the overpass the air can feel close and hot (bunnyann, 2026)
- Heavy traffic on and under the overpass (PTS, March 2026), and no dedicated car park
- Small market; some stalls close early
