Which one to pick
Luodong Night Market is the one most visitors want: Yilan snacks such as angelica lamb soup, Sanxing scallion pie and dragon-phoenix rolls around Zhongshan Park, from mid-afternoon every day. It is within walking distance of Luodong Station, and it gets very busy on weekends.
Yilan Dongmen Night Market is smaller and more local, under and beside the Donggang overpass about six minutes on foot from Yilan Station. The overpass must come down for the railway elevation project, and no new site or date had been agreed as of April 2026, so check before you go.
Qinggou Night Market runs on Wednesday only, along Qinggou Road beside the rice fields in Dongshan Township, with 200 to 300 stalls depending on the source. It is outside Luodong town, so most people drive or take a taxi.
