The quick read
Why go
Qinggou appears only on Wednesday nights: two to three hundred stalls set up along Qinggou Road beside the rice fields of Dongshan Township, selling fried gua bao, sesame oil kidney stir-fry, filled doughnuts and much more. By day it is a country road; from 18:00 it becomes a big, busy weekly market.
If you are staying in Luodong or Yilan on a Wednesday, it is a good change from Luodong Night Market, and it feels more local. But it is outside town, the bus means a transfer and a walk, and most people come by car or taxi. Come on any other night and you will find only rice fields.
What to eat

Where to find the top stalls
The market runs along Qinggou Road beside the rice fields. Global Views City (2024) says it stretches from Yongxing Road to Yongqing Road, about 1.5 km with close to 300 stalls; gofunit (2026) says about 1 km with more than 200 stalls. Stalls are mobile and have no numbers. The one fixed landmark in our sources is the yellow boneless pork rib truck at the Qinggou Road and Yong'an Road junction.
Night-market stalls rarely have their own address. We describe each position only as our dated sources state it. If you cannot see it, show the sign text to a vendor nearby. Stalls move and hours change, so check before a special trip.

- Large for a weekly market: 200 to 300 stalls, depending on the source
- Set beside open rice fields, which feels very different from a city market
- A visitor quoted in 2024 says the road is closed to traffic from 18:00, which makes it easier to walk
