The quick read
Why go
Taoyuan Tourist Night Market has "tourist" in its name, but it is really central Taoyuan's neighborhood market, used mostly by locals. The stalls cluster around the Zhongzheng Road and Beipu Road junction: long-running ding bian cuo, oyster omelet with squid soup, A Cai's potstickers and Vietnamese-style shrimp cakes, every night of the week.
It is not large or especially trendy, the stalls are spread over a few streets, and cars and scooters are kept out only from 19:00 to 22:00. But if you are staying near Taoyuan Station, it is a 15 to 20 minute walk to an honest, cheap dinner. If you are traveling in for one market, Zhongli Tourist Night Market is the bigger night out.

Where to find the top stalls
Start at the Zhongzheng Road and Beipu Road junction. Most food stalls are on Beipu Road, with more on Zhengkang 2nd Street and Zhongzheng 1st Street. The house numbers below are from a 2023 guide; TVBS named the same stalls in November 2025 without addresses, so look for the sign.
Night-market stalls rarely have their own address. We describe each position only as our dated sources state it. If you cannot see it, show the sign text to a vendor nearby. Stalls move and hours change, so check before a special trip.
