Why go
Sanhe is the easiest authentic market to reach from central Taipei. One stop over the bridge to Taipei Bridge station and you are standing in roughly 800 meters of Sanchong street life, where the prices drop and the English signage mostly disappears. That trade works strongly in your favor.
The local classics run deep here: intestine vermicelli, Changhua-style meatballs, papaya milk, peanut ice cream rolls. It is a long, lively strip with branches, so wander without a plan and follow the queues. The lines know things.

Where to find the top stalls
The market runs about 800 m along Zhongyang North Road in Sanchong, with the Sanchong Central Public Market inside it. Taipei Bridge MRT is about a 2-minute walk away. Most stalls here have house numbers.
Night-market stalls rarely have their own address. We describe each position only as our dated sources state it. If you cannot see it, show the sign text to a vendor nearby. Stalls move and hours change, so check before a special trip.

Look for the sign
萬粒肉圓
Where: A shop at Changshou Street No. 22 (長壽街22號), at the tail end of the market toward Sanhe Road. Open since 1974.
Hours: Daytime into early evening, to about 21:00.

Where: Zhongyang North Road No. 8 (中央北路8號), next to the Changhua Bank branch. It has seats.
Hours: 17:00 to about midnight. Closed Mondays.

市場口木瓜牛奶專賣店
Where: Zhongyang North Road No. 26 (中央北路26號), mid-market in front of the Central Market. Open since 1979.

Pork blood soup and pan-fried intestine: Nameless intestine and pork blood soup stall (since 1972)
Look for the sign
大腸煎・豬血湯
Where: No shop name: look for the words 大腸煎 and 豬血湯. In front of the Central Market under the stairs, Zhongyang North Road No. 26, next to the papaya milk stall.
Hours: About 16:30 to 23:30.

Look for the sign
阿文餛飩湯圓
Where: Beside Zhongyang North Road No. 71 (中央北路71號旁), at a junction inside the market. The sign may also read 阿文鮮肉湯圓.
Hours: About 17:00 to midnight.

A 2021 news report quoting the New Taipei Traffic Bureau names Guangrong Elementary School Underground Parking (光榮國小地下停車場, 575 car and 145 scooter spaces), while a 2026 blog suggests Guangxing Elementary School Underground Parking (光興國小地下停車場), about a 6 minute walk away.
