When the other big rotating markets are dark at the start of the week, Dadong and its adjacent sibling Dadong East are running, and together they cover a full large-market footprint: food on one side, more food plus family games spilling into the next lot over.

The scallion pancakes and crispy ribs headline, and the games make this the best pick in the city if you have kids in tow. The two names confuse map listings, so do not panic when your app shows two markets. They sit next to each other. Walk to one and you have found both.

Where to find the top stalls

Since the 2023 split there are two markets side by side: Dadong (about 40 stalls, mostly food) and Dadong East (about 400 stalls of food, games and goods), with the dividing line now removed. Guides only say which side a stall is on, so look for the sign.

Night-market stalls rarely have their own address. We describe each position only as our dated sources state it. If you cannot see it, show the sign text to a vendor nearby. Stalls move and hours change, so check before a special trip.
