The quick read
Why go
Douliu Tourist Night Market is the biggest in Yunlin: about 6 hectares and nearly 1,000 stalls, opened at the end of 2021 when most of the old Douliu Renwen Night Market moved here. It sits on its own grounds at the south end of Douliu rather than along a main road, with parking lots and a large outdoor eating area, so you can wander at your own pace.
It opens only three nights a week, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday, and it is close to half an hour on foot from TRA Douliu. If you are passing through Yunlin on one of those nights, or want to see one of the largest night markets in Taiwan, it is worth an evening. Queue for the three-cup braised snacks first, then try the crispy oyster omelet and the chive boxes.
What to eat
- Three-cup braised snacks (san bei lu wei)
- Oyster omelet with a crisp pastry crust
- Fried chive boxes
- Fried pork rib nuggets (pai gu su)
- Salt-grilled tilapia

Where to find the top stalls
This market opened at the end of 2021, and most stalls from the old Douliu Renwen Night Market (斗六人文夜市) moved here, so older guides under that name are out of date. The Yunlin County tourism site (read 2026-10-31) gives Zhennan Road No. 560, where Google Maps also places it. Many guides give Zhennan Road Lane 421 No. 2 instead; we have not confirmed whether that is a different entrance. Our dated sources name the popular stalls but give no stall numbers or positions, so look for the signs.
Night-market stalls rarely have their own address. We describe each position only as our dated sources state it. If you cannot see it, show the sign text to a vendor nearby. Stalls move and hours change, so check before a special trip.
